EUMC's Youth Group

Today’s youth will be tomorrow’s leaders. The questions are: What sort of leaders do we want, and how do we create leaders that will make the world a better place?

Today’s world is often confusing, difficult, and scary for most of us, but for our youth it can be even more so. Why am I here? Why doesn’t the ‘in group’ like me? Other people take drugs, is it okay? Would anybody really miss me if I left? Why don’t my parents
understand me? These and other questions can torment someone still searching for their place in the world.

Young people long for authenticity, need validation of their self worth, and crave relationships. God created us to be in relationship with each other, and young people find that relationship where ever
it is available, especially through the internet. Shouldn’t the best relationship for our youth should be with God?

EUMC’s active youth program provides a strong, secure, and loving faith community that will:

  • Grow and strengthen their relationship with God
  • Learn, through open discussion, how they can serve God through serving others
  • Develop new friends and create a healthy support network
  • Discuss topics relevant to their life and the world around them
  • Travel with others to camp retreats and mission trips

Come join our youth as they discover the path God has planned for them. It will be an exciting and rewarding journey.

The Youth In Action Group will meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 6-8 pm during the school year. A meal is provided, and the youth will have an opportunities to learn about and act their faith, build positive relationships, and participate in activities such as bowling, skiing, caroling, and Sasquatch hunting!
