At EUMC we emphasize Service to Others as a means of showing others the same love that God has shown us. This service can take many forms, including the manner we interact with others on a daily basis, the time we give to neighbors in need, and the financial support to help bring relief.
EUMC offers many different ministries for Helping Others, including: sandwiches for the homeless, Free Store on Saturdays, Billings Senior Food Pantry, and Broadwater Elementary Clothing & Supplies.
Jesus said, “The greatest commandment is this, you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is, YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.” Mark 12:31
Jesus also said, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40
John Wesley, founder of the Methodist Religion, took Jesus’ words and created an all encompassing message: ‘Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.’ Methodist Guidelines
